Oh, how I love warm drinks as it gets cool!
While I don’t drink coffee as a rule, if you add milk and sugar, ice cream, or cookies, I am a fan of coffee flavor. So, frothy coffee with maple and cinnamon hits the sweet spot!
Maple Cinnamon Latte
A cinnamon latte with the flavor of maple. Another way to enjoy a latte
Ingredients
- 1 cup of milk I used 2%
- 0.25 cup espresso or concentrated coffee
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 0.25 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.25 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- In your mug, add coffee, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Let the hot espresso dissolve the ingredients.
- Heat up your milk on the stove and remove right before it starts boiling. Cook for about 4-6 minutes on medium-high heat.
- Pour your milk in a milk frother and froth until you have thick foam.
- Pour the milk over your coffee in the mug, and make sure to scoop out the extra foam.
- Garnish with some more cinnamon on top, if you wish.
