It’s getting cool — even here in Southern Texas! So it is definitely time for some warm beverages.

And if you are hosting a gathering during this holiday season, it would be great to add one — or all — of these warm drinks to your repertoire for your guests!

Pumpkin Spice Irish Coffee

This recipe combines pumpkin spice with hot coffee, Irish cream, and delicious homemade whipped cream for a cozy and satisfying adults-only treat.

White Cafe Mocha

This incredibly rich and decadent gourmet coffee drink is every bit as delicious as the expensive concoctions available at your local coffee shop. As shown, this recipe makes two large 16-oz. drinks. However, it can be divided into 3 or 4 smaller servings depending on what size mugs you use.

Making Your Own Chai Tea Latte

Turning a wonderful mixture of spices and tea into chai tea that you can enjoy takes a bit of time, but it’s completely worth it. It is possible to increase the recipe and make a larger batch. The tea base can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Chai Tea Latte is my favorite warm drink but I am also a fan of Hot Chocolate with Baileys in it. Since I can’t really drink alcohol, I use the Bailey Creamer which works well.

Chai is a favorite of mine. Not the latte part, just the spices. I have tried to make chai cupcakes and cookies following different recipes. Some have you cut open teabags and finely grind the ingredients, others steep the bags in some warm milk… My go-to method is to blend the spices from scratch and go from there. Come to think of it, I may have some left from last season.

A few years ago, I learned how to make chai from scratch. Then I got lazy and started buying the premade chai. I should do better… LOL

I don’t like coffee to drink but I love the way it smells. I used to buy coffee to brew just to make the apartment (at the time) smell like coffee. But I love coffee ice cream and coffee drinks with milk and ice and whipped cream. I don’t why that is…

I need my coffee in the morning, but my drink of choice in the evenings is definitely tea. I make sure our tea cabinet is well stocked, and now my son and I do a tea Advent Calendar in December. 🙂

There are so many good teas out there. My hubby and I sit and drink tea in the evenings too! The Advent calendar sounds like fun!
