This year has flown by.
I find that the end of the year and the start of a new one always make me want to reevaluate things–myself, my plans, and my goals. I am sure many of you do too. As we enter the holiday season and start planning for the new year, I am sharing some posts about taking that deep dive and doing some self-evaluation.
Honestly, the hardest thing that a person could achieve is finding out who he or she really is.
It’s not a literal question but a concept. Who are you going to follow and who are you going to become? A lot of people look up to others as their role models, their inspiration, and their mentors. It’s fine to have these people around you. However, it’s also nice to understand and develop your own character. It takes time and thought to do that — it’s not a quick process.
Why Is It Important To Seek My True Self?
It’s more like searching for the next puzzle piece. It’s a part of building the big picture that lies ahead for your life. Take a good look at yourself and ask, “Who am I and what will I become?” This may require looking back and seeing how you got to the present: events, people, and activities all can influence your current mindset and character. Understanding your current dreams and desires will help you establish a set of goals that can eventually lead to reaching your full potential.
Something to think about, right? More posts to come…
