It’s Day 7 of our 30 Days Blessed This Christmas Blogging and Social Media Challenge. How are you feeling about your blessings today? Hopefully, you won’t feel preached to or “talked at” while reading these words. They’re meant to be a gentle nudge toward expanded consciousness and a way to open the door to positive people and opportunities. Do you ever feel as though life is an all-uphill battle, with no relief in sight? Day 5: A Cup of Self-Reflection
What is it about a hot drink that lends itself so readily to self-reflection and self-realization? Help yourself to an attitude of gratitude in the form of self-reflection and self-realization. Wrap your hands around a warm mug of spiced cider that you take time to sip slowly from a rocker on the front porch. Don’t have a front porch? Day 4: What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger

Sometimes you might feel like everything’s going wrong. You don’t have enough to pay the credit card bill this month. Your child got in trouble in school today. You had to say goodbye to a beloved pet. The checkout lines at Wal-mart seemed to…

Gratitude: The Reason for the Season
Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated by Canadians and Americans. Though the origins are different, the sentiment is essentially the same. Thanksgiving is a day set apart to celebrate the bounty and blessings of the year. Reminding us to be thankful for the abundance and wonderful things that have happened — even when a lot of things have not gone to plan or have actually gone wrong. In America, there are a lot of traditions that go hand-in-hand with Thanksgiving. Football, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, and large dinners with turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. Certainly, these are things to be thankful for, but there’s plenty of other reasons…
